Over the past few weeks, city staff have been the target of several intimidating tactics by certain council members. We thought it would be beneficial to point out, as the image below displays, that the city manager is given the task to manage city staff, the name kind of gives it away. More importantly, as you see below, council members are not necessarily charged with the task.

OK – I have a question. Where do Ramos and Rod Simpson fit in to this org chart?

Ramos – Given the city named him as the chair of the GPAC despite his ability to benefit economically, we put above the citizens, at the top.
Simpson – Obviously, he falls into the CD category, his day to day duties should be supervised by Morris, not overbearing council members.

I love the updated chart. Maybe off to the side of Ramos we should put the two princesses, Annette and Becky. I am trying to figure out where Dominic would fit in. Baybe just above the rest of the council.
I also figure that to keep an even keel, we should re-do the way the council is seated. From now on, we should have three seats appointed by Ramos and then two elected by the citizens. That way, we won’t have any dis-connect when a new slate is seated. The city will continue to run and there will be no lost time in trying to figure out where everyone stands.
