Wow, she sure has a lot of excuses of why it hasn’t been picked up or been done. Then has the audacity to be surly about it. Nice dismissal of the lady at the ends feelings as well. Fine her and her husband.
BTW, where are these clips coming from? I’d love to be able to watch the council sessions as I work most nights these take place.
You liberals have nothing better to do. I’m sure the Mayor took care of this today. She has always been a person who rights a wrong. The cute girl at the end was probably just for effect.
The mayor and the contractors responsible for leaving their refuse had six months to right their own wrongs… but chose not to. You heard her, she doesn’t even care about being a criminal, she’d rather take the fine than be a good responsible landowner.
I had no idea that she owned the property next to where I live until I started cleaning up her mess and some of my good neighbors told me it was Becky Campo’s, and that I shouldn’t touch it.
Her trash pile attracted other trash over time which included an abandoned inoperable truck that high school students would thow rocks at. After constantly reminding the police chief and city manager I got the pickup out of there, but the trash pile persisted. The trash pile finally got cleaned up early in the morning after the recent council meeting, by some city workers with tractors, they scooped it up, and the neigborhood fire, and chemical hazard for the past 6 months is finally gone!
I thought she was very rude when she told me not to go near her property, when she has no right to tell me what public right of way I can or can’t be in, especially when she’s the criminal in the matter at hand.
Mayor Campo’s so ignorant to think I can stay away from her property when we share the same property lines. Every time I go home, I’m essentially near her property. Probably wouldn’t have moved there if I knew I was moving next to a landlord with a personal vendetta out for me.
It is hard to take you seriously when the truth is that you received a citation from code officers for your own violation. At which point you yelled your way to City Hall complaining to the workers about how unfair it was for you to get picked on, and the mayor had that pile in the alley.Tit for Tat.
The only thing that you were correct about is that it needed to be cleaned up. To pretend that you did not know that it was her property was not true. You knew all along. The staged photo you brought did not score you any points either. Maybe that is what she meant by staying away from her property. What a mental midget!
Well I’d say he has a point. If his property, which is in close proximity to the mayors, gets a citation and hers doesn’t, I’d be pissed too. Mayor said it in the video that she gets no preferential treatment. 6 months of non-compliance with no warning, fine, etc seems pretty preferential to me.
Also a quick search for Josue Villarreal on google brings up Rebecca Campo’s Reunion.com/mylife profile and Josue Villarreal, 40, Modesto CA is on the friend list as well as 7 other Villarreal’s….hrmm
Josue,
Thanks for using your real name, I feel no one needs to hide behind a psuedo-name, but your comment needs some clarification.
First of all I never received a citation, but a notice that my classic Mach I mustang might be towed from my driveway even though it’s registered non-op and out of the public right of way. It turned out to be so because the vehicle is registered at my parents south 4th street address and the police thought that because it was at a different address that it was abandoned.
I didn’t yell at city hall, but I did write a letter to the police chief and city manager stating all the different sections of code in the Patterson Municipal Code Book that I was NOT in violation of, and they retracted their notice of violation on my car.
The fact that you were informed (misinformed) about this matter, I’m guessing by your sister Becky, goes to show that the mayor 1) knew all along that her trash pile was still back there, 2) and that she’s giving out information to you, that doesn’t really pertain to you.

If the mayor doesn’t live in that house, does she still live in the city?

Has the trash been taken care of by the Mayor?

If you look closely, you can make out what appears to be a large pile of waste on W. Las Palmas Avenue.
